SHANE LECHLER OF THE OAKLAND RAIDERS EARNED A TRIP TO THE PRO BOWL WITH A RECORD-BREAKING PERFORMANCE IN 2007.  HIS 41.1 IS THE BEST EVER NET PUNTING AVERAGE.  HE FINISHED THE SEASON LEADING THE NFL WITH A GROSS PUNTING AVERAGE OF 49.1 THAT INCLUDED 25 PUNTS PLACED INSIDE THE OPPONENT'S 20 YARD LINE.  HIS CAREER PUNTING AVERAGE OF 46.5 RANKS AS THE BEST CAREER PUNTING AVERAGE IN NFL HISTORY!

ANDY LEE OF THE SAN FRANCISCO 49'ERS EARNED A TRIP TO THE PRO BOWL AS THE NFC'S PUNTER.  IT WAS HIS FIRST CAREER APPEARANCE.  HE LED THE NFL IN ALMOST EVERY MAJOR PUNTING CATEGORY, AND SET AN NFL RECORD FOR PUNTS INSIDE THE 20-YARD LINE, WITH 42.  SECOND IN GROSS PUNTING AVERAGE (47.3) AND NET PUNTING AVERAGE (41.0), LEE'S NET PUNTING AVERAGE IS NOW THE SECOND BEST EVER, BEHIND ONLY LECHLER'S 41.1.  HE ALSO LED THE NFL WITH 49 PUNTS OVER 50 YARDS, INCLUDING 12 PUNTS OF 60 OR MORE.
