• As a 7th Grader for Nazareth Area Middle School, Matt kicked a school-record 40 yard field goal in a game vs. Northampton Area Middle School on October 17, 2015.
• As an upcoming freshman, Matt won the longest field goal competition (50 yards) at the the 2017 Philadelphia/Bethlehem ProKicker camp on July 29,2017.
• As a freshman, Matt was selected as starting kicker on the varsity team. During his first game as a starter, he kicked three field goals (39, 28, 33). Matt made the final 33 yard FG as time expired to win the game vs. Liberty High School, 30-27 (October 20, 2017)
• As a freshman, Matt won 1st place overall, and 1st place in the field goal competition, at the first Kick It Specialty Contest held in the Lehigh Valley on May 20, 2018. Matt competed with sophomore, junior, and senior kickers from the East Penn Conference South in field goals, punting, and kickoffs. His FG percentage was 100%, and his longest FG was 55 yds.
• Ranked #2 overall returning sophomore football player (all positions) by Lehigh Valley Live (lehighvalleylive.com)
• As a sophomore, Matt kicked a 45-yard FG (second longest in school history) in a 31-21 victory over Bethlehem Catholic HS on September 22, 2018.
• As a sophomore, Matt kicked a school-record 4 FGs (34, 28, 41, 21) plus 2 PATs in a 26-13 win over Liberty HS on October 5, 2018. Named by Lehigh Valley Live (lehighvalleylive.com) as East Penn Conference Offensive Player of the Week and one of "20 statistical studs from the weekend's high school football action" for his performance.
• As a junior, Matt kicked 8 field goals and 62 extra points, ran for 2 TDs and 1 PAT, and threw for 2 TDs during the season which culminated in conference and district championships.
• Matt was selected 2019 2nd team All Area kicker by lehighvalleylive.com
• Matt was named one of top 5 kickers in the Lehigh Valley in the past 20 years by lehighvalleylive.vom (2020)
