Kasey Redfern - Kicking Lessons North / South Carolina

 

Kasey Redfern is a Wofford College graduate originally signed by NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in 2014, he spent part of the 2015 season on San Diego's practice squad before signing with Carolina this offseason. In three games this preseason, he has 12 punts for 562 yards and a 46.8 gross average.

 

High School Three year starter at Ragsdale High School who played in the 2009 Shrine Bowl ... Had an average of 34.75 yards per punt with 23 of 56 inside the 20 and a long of 66 yards ... Added 80 kickoffs with 53 touchbacks. Scored 66 total points with longest FG of 48-yards ... All-Conference (twice) and All-State (2009).

 

College: A native of Jamestown, North Carolina, Redfern handled all the kicking duties for the Wofford Terriers his senior season. He was fourth in the Southern Conference in punting with a 42.4 yard average. He led the team in scoring with 44 points, as he was 6-of-10 on field goals and 26-of-28 on extra points. On 46 kickoffs, he averaged 61.6 yards with 19 touchbacks.
