High School: Will Fitchett lettered in football and wrestling at Summerville H.S. ... earned all-state recognition on the gridiron as a senior in 2007 ... coached by Legendary South Carolina Head Football Coach - John McKissick.

 

Fitchett turned in an impressive showing his first year as a true-freshman walk-on at the very challenging position of long snapper ... and did not have a bad snap all season. He snapped for every punt and PAT/field goal attempt - and was flawless over four seasons in one of the most high-pressure and thankless roles in football. In addition to snapping prowess, he was very effective in downfield punt coverage as well.
